【摘要】:ThisInternationalStandardestablishestheratingofliquidspark-ignitionenginefuelintermsofanarbitraryscaleofoctanenumbersusingastandardsingle-cylinder,four-strokecycle,variable-compressionratio,carburetted,CFRengineoperatedatconstantspeed.Motoroctanenumber(MON)providesameasureoftheknockcharacteristicsofmotorfuelsinautomotiveenginesundersevereconditionsofoperation.Themotoroctanenumberprovidesameasureoftheknockcharacteristicsofaviationfuelsinaviationpistonengines,byusinganequationtocorrelatetoaviation-methodoctanenumberorperformancenumber(lean-mixtureaviationrating).ThisInternationalStandardisapplicablefortheentirescalerangefrom0MONto120MON,buttheworkingrangeis40MONto120MON.Typicalmotorfueltestingisintherangeof80MONto90MON.Typicalaviationfueltestingisintherangeof98MONto102MON.ThisInternationalStandardcanbeusedforoxygenate-containingfuelscontainingupto4,0%(m/m)oxygen.Certaingasesandfumes,suchashalogenatedrefrigerantsusedinair-conditioningequipmentthatcanbepresentintheareawheretheCFRengineislocated,mayhaveameasurableeffectontheMONrating.ElectricalpowertransientvoltageorfrequencysurgesordistortioncanaffectMONratings.NOTEIThisInternationalStandardspecifiesoperatingconditionsinSIunitsbutenginemeasurementsarespecifiedininch-poundunitsbecausethesearetheunitsusedinthemanufactureoftheequipment,andthussomereferencesinthisInternationalStandardincludetheseunitsinparenthesis.NOTE2ForthepurposesofthisInternationalStandard,theexpressions"%(m/m)"and"%(V/V)"areusedtorepresentthemassandvolumefractionsofamaterial,respectively.
